This is my second time ordering these. I had purchased a set for my former home. When I moved into my new one, this was the first thing ton my list to purchase! Great product and fast shipping.

Both get 5 stars (browser doesn't seem to want to highlight the star icons). StairRail Direct offered volume discount on a product that Amazon did not and saved me at least $200. Shipping was quicker than I needed/expected and my packages arrived while I was gone on vacation. Installation is self evident, but as my project progressed I discovered methods of efficiency that made this a breeze. Only problem is that when retrofitting an existing rail, dowel holes from old pickets did not get fully covered up by the mounting bracket. I will need to come back and fill these later. Related to this, typically only one screw would line up while the other hole for the mounting bracket needed a screw about 2 inches longer or needed to be inserted at a severe angle in order to screw into the rail. Finished job looks great with only minor flaws related to DIY lack of skill. Flaws in workmanship include brackets not parallel to the nose of each step. Detail in rail design that requires additional work is in the alignment of the adjuster lock at the bottom of the sleeved portion of the baluster. To get this parallel with an adjacent baluster, the top of the sleeved section needs to be cut off and re-drilled. I also had to cut 7 total baluster sleeves because the stock minimum length was not short enough once the brackets were installed.
