Packages 8' (95") long or less (cheapest option): We use FEDEX Ground or FEDEX Home delivery.

Need a rail that's 9' long? (costs slightly more): If we can cut 1" off the length (107") We can ship it using FEDEX.

As long as the package size is kept no longer than 108", FEDEX will deliver it to you.

Select "Shipping Quote Only" during checkout and no payment will be required. We will add this shipping charge to your invoice and you will then have an opportunity to complete the order.

Packages that are 9' or longer or large orders : We use LTL Truckline companies. These are the large trucks you see on the highways (18 wheels). Charges usually start around $165. These trucks will deliver anything from 1 pc. of handrail up to a whole truckload. This can be the cheapest for large orders.

Select "Shipping Quote Only" during checkout and no payment will be required. We will add this shipping charge to your invoice and you will then have an opportunity to complete the order.

Suggestions for avoiding LTL freight delivery charges To avoid additional LTL shipping charges, 2 lengths of hand rail may be joined together by using a rail bolt (#1020) or a #20 tandem cap fitting (pin top newel post required with fitting) to achieve lengths longer than 8'. Typically any rail over 8' long should have additional support in the middle for safety.(Check your local building codes)

LTL Freight DeliveriesYou must make sure that trucking company's truck will be able to make delivery to your location. These trucks are usually large (tractor trailers). It is your responsibility to assure that their are no restrictions for these types of trucks, such as (but not limited to) low power lines, narrow roadways, laws or regulations restricting these types of local deliveries etc...
